Stanislaus County Transit Systems’ Easy Rider Trip Planner
Easy Rider trip planner, powered by Google Maps, is designed to make it easier for transit riders to arrange their trips in Turlock and Stanislaus County, as well as in other counties and cities that also use Google Maps for their trip planners. All Stanislaus County transit systems are partners in this process, so a trip that involves more that one system can be scheduled from Easy Rider at www.blastbus.com or any of the following websites:
Easy Rider is linked to each transit operator’s route and schedule data so it can find the nearest bus stop to your starting point, tell you when the bus will be there, when and where to make transfers if you need to, and when you’ll arrive at the bus stop nearest to your destination.
How to Use the Easy Rider Trip Planner
- Enter your starting location into the “Start” text field on top with a street address, the intersection of two streets, a business name, or significant landmark.
- Next enter your destination in the "End" text field using the same method.
- Select either the “Depart at” or “Arrive by” option near the bottom.
- Adjust the date and time of travel in the last two boxes as needed.
- Finally, click the "Get Directions" button and that’s it.
Easy Rider may ask you for more specific location info, and then display a few options for your trip. You can customize your results by selecting "Show options" and changing the "Prefer" settings for shorter walking distances, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: While the County’s transit agencies strive to provide quality information through our trip planner, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy with your search results. It’s a good idea to occasionally double check your Easy Rider results with a current printed Ride Guide to make sure departure times are accurate. This is a new service that is still being refined by both Google and the participating transit agencies. Please see the
Google Maps Terms and Conditions.
