T'AI CHI CH'UAN

Tai Chi Chuan is an art of self-defense and self-discipline which has been in existence for centuries in China. The slow, graceful movements are practiced for health, concentration and relaxation. As an exercise, tai chi improves blood circulation and increases the immune system. It strengthens the mind, joints, muscles and bones, thereby improving flexibility and balance.
All participants MUST PRE-REGISTER.

INTERMEDIATE LINE DANCING
Dance for pleasure, exercise, therapy or just plain fun! Wear comfortable shoes or boots with leather or suede bottoms (bowling shoes are excellent substitutes). Partner not required.

Come out and enjoy the game of softball at one of the Central Valley's finest softball facilities Pedretti Park. There are different levels of play from top men's/women's to recreation and coed. All leagues are "D" level and below. Our leagues play by ASA rules with some local recreational league amendments, only ASA approved bats may be used excluding all Mikens and Titanium made bats .

FRIDAY NIGHT OUT SPORNSORED BY THE TURLOCK LIONS CLUB

This program is for youth and adults, 12 years and older with developmental disabilities. Programs are designed to promote socialization, independent functioning and recreational skills. Activities will include crafts, games, social time, refreshments and fun. This class runs the 3rd Friday of each month. SIGN UP AT CLASS

ADULT VOLLEYBALL

City league volleyball is a great way to get some exercise, meet new people and see your friends. This is nine weeks of volleyball, plus playoffs. League play is Monday night with Recreational, Competitive 6 and Power or Thursday night with No-Spiking, Recreational and Competitive 6.

MARATHON MILE Kids & Families Fun Run

The Kids & Families Marathon is an incremental running program that has been designed to encourage kids and their families to exercise and begin a healthy lifestyle that will continue for years to come. Participating children grades K – 6, Teens and Adults will run a total of 26.2 miles (a full marathon distance) over a four-month period. Participants will be motivated to build endurance, increase self-confidence and learn to reach goals.

Participants will complete their final 1 mile during the Family Play Day on Saturday, April 24th at Donnelly Park Area M. Upon completing the marathon participants will receive a Marathon Finisher’s Medal and T-shirt, along with food and beverages.

MEMORY EXERCISE CLASS 18 YEARS AND OLDER

“Use it or Lose It” – Exercise for the Mind

This class is a series of eight memory exercise classes to help you learn how to prevent memory loss and enhance your quality of life through exercising your brain. Come and join the fun and improve your mind at the same time. Class includes a memory binder and materials.

YOGA FOR ADULTS

This is a beginning yoga class where students will develop strength, flexibility and endurance through the practice of different yoga postures (asanas). The asanas will be done gently and held for a few breaths. Proper breathing techniques will be taught for each asana allowing the student to find the connection between their mind and body.
- Students are encouraged to bring a towel or Yoga Mat to work out on.

RUN/WALK STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CLASS

Have you been thinking about running /walking a 10-K, ½ Marathon or Marathon? Here is your chance to work with trainers from Runners’ Feet and prepare for an upcoming event. This class will work with core training, agility training techniques, conditioning and endurance. This training program will give each person an opportunity to condition themselves for fitness.
